Many visitors also choose to buy purple onions and tỏi mồ côi (orphan garlic) with their distinct Hon Do sea flavor, for both culinary and medicinal purposes. Additionally, other local specialties like bánh tráng mắm ruốc (rice paper with fermented shrimp paste), dried fish, dried squid, frozen sea oysters, trái da cá (fish skin fruit), apples, green grapes, etc., are popular choices for souvenirs for family and friends.

In recent years, more tourists have discovered Hon Do, which has given us the opportunity to sell more local seafood, increasing our income and supporting our families. To sustain the benefits of tourism development and attract more visitors, we regularly organize clean-up efforts to keep the beach area beautiful and pristine."
