Flower Festival (Mid -Autumn Festival)

Flower Festival on the occasion of the Mid -Autumn Festival usually takes place in 3 days, from the 13 to 15th of the lunar calendar, is the main time of the festival. In these days, all the streets of Hoi An are decorated with thousands of shimmering lanterns, attracting tourists to participate in activities such as lion dance, procession and drop flower lamp on the Hoai River. 

Time of flower festival: From 13 to 15 of the lunar calendar: are the main days of the festival.  Many cultural and decorative activities start earlier, maybe about 10 days before the full moon to create festive atmosphere. 

Location takes place:  The central area of ​​the festival is Hoi An ancient town. The streets such as Tran Phu, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Loi and the two sides of the Hoai River.

Thousands of colorful lanterns are everywhere, creating a fanciful space.

Lion dance and lighting: 

The lion dance troupes performed the streets, and the lamp procession.
